FAB FRIDAY Photo 2: Tracy Reed

Tracy Reed [1942-present] is the official FAB FRIDAY Photo.

Reed landed her most notable film role in director Stanley Kubrick's Dr. Strangelove Or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb [1964] [see image]. To fans of UFO she is remembered as the sexy Jane Carson, the latest entry in the little black book of one Colonel Paul Foster, played by Michael Billington, in Episode 7, The Dalotek Affair [1971].

I may not have watched UFO, but sure do remember her from Kubrick's Dr. Strangelove. Oh, yeah. Thanks, SFF.

Right? What a beauty. You have to love how curvy women were back then. You look at her figure and it's beautiful yet the antithesis of many of today's models. She's curvaceous and soft - very natural. There's no six pack or evidence she's been starving herself for weeks or pumping iron. She's just one of those old-fashioned brunette beauties.

Just attended her Funeral yesterday in Durras in West Cork Ireland where she lived for the last 20 years peacefully where her first husband Edward Fox attented and Lucy Gormanston Viscountess (her daughter) said a reading. RIP Tracy.

I'm very sorry to hear that. I had no idea she passed away.

Sorry to see her go particularly for those freinds and family who knew and adored her.

It's funny I actually spent two weeks in County Cork in 1995. I could have passed her on the street.

Take care and thanks for sharing. In peace.
